Animism is the belief that all things in nature have souls; trees, animals, storms, etc. are all “alive.” These souls may exist apart from their physical presence, and reflect the strength/health of their corporeal counterparts. This artwork attempts to capture the energy of those nature spirits — without regard for accurate depiction of the physical form.
